- Thoroughly clean the mounting area on the rear side panel and lower roof edge of the Discovery using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
- Dry-fit the ladder against the vehicle body to confirm alignment and positioning. Mark the intended placement lightly if needed before committing.
- Apply the included double-sided adhesive strips to the ladder's mounting points as directed, ensuring full contact coverage across each pad.
- Press the ladder firmly into position and hold with consistent pressure for 60 seconds per contact point to initiate the adhesive bond.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before placing any load or weight on the ladder. Avoid washing the vehicle during this period.
- Once cured, perform a gentle pull test on each mounting point to confirm the bond is secure before use.
⚠ Note: Surface temperature affects adhesive performance. Do not fit in direct sunlight, in temperatures below 10°C, or on wet bodywork. Always allow full cure time before use. If your Discovery has aftermarket body cladding or non-standard paint, test adhesion in a discreet area first.
