Installation Notes
Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 15–25 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool (optional)
- Ensure the vehicle is parked and the rear doors are fully open to give comfortable access to the vent panels.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing OEM plastic vent cover away from the door card, releasing the retaining clips. Take care not to stress the surrounding door card material.
- With the OEM cover removed, clean the aperture area with a dry cloth to remove any dust or residue from behind the old cover.
- Align the new aluminum vent cover over the aperture, ensuring the vent louvres are correctly orientated (downward-facing angle toward the cabin floor).
- Press the cover firmly and evenly into place, engaging all retaining clips until you hear or feel each one click securely into position.
- Repeat the process on the opposite rear door to complete the pair.
- Check both covers are fully seated and free from any movement or rattle before closing the doors.
