Installation Notes

- Clean the existing rearview mirror surround thoroughly with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely — this is the most important step for adhesion longevity.
- Dry-fit the trim panel over the mirror surround without removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment, edge positioning, and panel orientation before committing.
- Peel back a small section of the adhesive backing. Align the panel carefully from one edge, pressing down progressively across the surface to avoid air pockets.
- Once positioned, apply firm, even pressure across the entire panel for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond fully.
- Allow 24 hours before exposing the trim to extreme temperature variation or moisture. Avoid touching or flexing the panel during this curing period.
⚠ Note: Ensure the mirror surround surface is completely dry and free of any silicone-based products, wax, or dashboard dressings before applying. These compounds significantly reduce adhesive performance and may cause the trim to lift over time.
