Installation Guide

- Secure vehicle on level ground. Raise and support on axle stands. Remove wheel.
- Locate inner tie rod end where it connects to the steering rack or centre link assembly.
- Remove existing nut and castle pin. Discard old tie rod end.
- Install new inner tie rod end to the same location. Torque nut to manufacturer specification (typically 35–45 Nm).
- Repeat for right side. Ensure equal thread length on both sides for parallel geometry.
- Refit wheel, lower vehicle, and perform wheel alignment check at a qualified facility.
- Test steering response and check for any play before returning to normal driving.
⚠ Important: Wheel alignment is critical after tie rod end replacement. Improper toe-in geometry will cause accelerated tyre wear and steering wander. Book a 4-wheel alignment check with a Land Rover–specialist workshop to verify geometry matches factory specification.
