- Begin with the cabin at room temperature. Avoid installation in cold or damp conditions, as adhesive performance may be reduced.
- Thoroughly clean the existing rear AC vent surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or panel prep solution. Remove all dust, grease, and residue. Allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the trim piece over the vent surround to confirm alignment and coverage before committing to adhesion.
- Peel the protective liner from the double-sided adhesive backing, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the trim carefully over the vent surround — position from one edge and press down gradually to avoid air pockets.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire trim surface for 30–60 seconds to fully activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow 12–24 hours before exposing the trim to moisture or significant heat to ensure a full cure.
Important: Do not force the trim into position. If alignment is off during dry-fitting, adjust before applying adhesive. Incorrect placement after bonding may damage the trim or the original vent surround upon removal.
