Installation Notes
⏱ Estimated Time: 10–15 minutes | 🔧 Difficulty: Very Easy — No Tools Required
- Begin by thoroughly cleaning the target surface on the co-pilot armrest storage box area using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or similar degreaser. Allow to dry completely — adhesion is significantly improved on a clean, grease-free surface.
- Dry-fit the trim piece to the mounting area without removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment and positioning before committing — check all edges sit flush with no gaps.
- Once satisfied with alignment, peel back the protective liner from the adhesive tape on the reverse of the trim piece.
- Carefully position the trim piece and press firmly onto the surface, working from the centre outward to eliminate any air pockets. Apply sustained pressure for 30–60 seconds across the full surface area.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 1 hour before exposing the area to significant movement or temperature change. Full cure is typically achieved within 24 hours.
⚠ Important: Do not install in cold ambient temperatures below 10°C — adhesive performance is reduced in cold conditions. Warm the surface slightly using a heat gun or hair dryer if fitting in cool weather, and allow to cure at room temperature where possible.
