Installation

Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes

  1. Preparation: Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Lift and secure the vehicle on jack stands. Remove any splash guards or undertray components blocking access to the transmission rear mount.
  2. Remove Old Bracket: Unbolt the worn transmission mount bracket from the transmission housing and subframe. Note bolt locations for reassembly. Inspect surrounding components for cracks or damage.
  3. Position New Bracket: Align the new bracket with the transmission mounting points. Hand-tighten all fasteners first to ensure proper alignment.
  4. Torque to Spec: Tighten all bolts in a cross pattern to factory torque specifications (typically 45–55 Nm for transmission mounts). Do not over-tighten, as this can damage rubber components.
