Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 20–30 minutes
- Disconnect the negative terminal of your battery (safety first).
- Locate the washer fluid reservoir beneath the front arch on the driver's side.
- Remove the electrical connector from the old sensor by pressing the tab gently.
- Unscrew the sensor housing (usually a single 10mm socket).
- Lift the old unit clear and note the float orientation.
- Insert the new sensor into the reservoir, ensuring the float moves freely.
- Reconnect the electrical harness—it only fits one way.
- Refill washer fluid reservoir and test the dashboard warning light cycle.
- Reconnect the battery terminal.
⚠️ Important: Ensure the float arm is not bent or pinched during installation. If the fluid level light doesn't reset after 5 seconds of ignition, disconnect and reseat the connector firmly.
