- Thoroughly clean the window surround area where the adhesive strips will be applied. Use a dry cloth to remove any dust, moisture, or grease — this ensures a strong, lasting bond.
- Test-fit each curtain panel against the rear side window before removing the adhesive backing. Confirm the profile lines up correctly with the window edge and frame.
- Peel back the adhesive backing from the mounting strips and carefully position the curtain panel against the window surround, starting from one corner and pressing firmly along the entire edge.
- Apply firm, even pressure along the adhesive line for 30–60 seconds to ensure full contact and adhesion.
- Repeat the process for the second rear window. Allow 1–2 hours before opening and closing windows to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
⚠ Note: Ensure surfaces are completely dry and at room temperature before installation. Avoid fitting in very cold or wet conditions as this may reduce adhesive performance. Do not stretch or force the mesh panel — if fitment feels incorrect, check you have the correct version for your Discovery generation (LR4 or LR5).
