- Thoroughly clean all four door sill surfaces with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and allow to dry completely. Any grease or residue will compromise adhesion.
- Test-fit each sill plate dry before removing the adhesive backing — confirm alignment and position against the factory trim edge.
- Start with the front driver's side sill. Peel back a small section of the adhesive liner and position the plate at one end of the sill, aligning the edge carefully.
- Slowly peel the remainder of the liner while pressing the plate down firmly along its full length. Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat the process for the remaining three plates — front passenger, rear left, rear right.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 12 hours before exposing the vehicle to water or heavy use for best long-term bond strength.
⚠ Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) — cold surfaces significantly reduce adhesive performance. If fitting in a garage during winter, allow the vehicle to warm to room temperature before beginning installation.
