Installation Notes

Disconnect battery negative terminal and allow engine to cool for 20+ minutes.

Safely support vehicle on jack stands. Do not work under a car supported only by a jack.

Locate rear lower mount at the engine/gearbox junction, beneath the bellhousing.

Remove fasteners securing mount to engine block and subframe (typically 3–4 bolts, 16–18mm socket).

Support engine with a block of wood and a separate jack under the sump, keeping tension light.

Extract old mount and clean seating surfaces with degreaser and lint-free cloth.

Install new mount hand-tight first, then torque to OEM spec (typically 45–55 Nm for this assembly).

Remove support jack and reconnect battery. Start engine and verify no vibration transmission.

Recheck all fasteners after 30 minutes of idle running.
⚠ Important: Engine mounts work in concert. If vibration persists after installation, have the front and rear gearbox mounts inspected. Do not overtighten fasteners—elastomer cores can tear if compressed beyond OEM spec.
