Installation Notes
🛠 Difficulty: Beginner · Est. Time: 20–35 minutes
- Thoroughly clean the headlight lens with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely — any residue or moisture beneath the film will compromise adhesion.
- Lightly mist the headlight surface and the adhesive side of the film with clean water — this gives you a working window to reposition before the film sets.
- Carefully peel the film backing and align the precut edges with the headlight housing contours, starting from the centre and working outward.
- Using the included squeegee pad, press firmly from the centre outward in smooth, overlapping strokes to eliminate all water and air pockets beneath the surface.
- Run a finger or the edge of the squeegee around the perimeter to seal all edges cleanly — pay particular attention to corners and curves.
- Allow the film to cure undisturbed for at least 24 hours before exposing the vehicle to rain, washing, or direct pressure.
⚠ Important: Do not apply in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 10°C — cold or excessively hot conditions affect adhesive performance and can prevent a clean, bubble-free bond. Application in a shaded garage environment is strongly recommended.
