Installation

Prepare your X5. Park in a well-lit area. Close all doors and ensure the engine is cool. No disconnection of battery or modules required.

Remove protective film. Peel backing from each trim strip gently. Do not touch adhesive or clip surfaces with bare hands.

Align first strip. Starting from the center of the grille opening, position the first strip horizontally. Press firmly for 5 seconds to set the clip.

Install remaining strips. Work outward left and right from center. Ensure each strip aligns flush with adjacent pieces. No gaps should be visible.

Secure all fasteners. Once all 14 strips are positioned, go back and tighten all mechanical fastener screws using the included tool. Do not over-tighten.

Final inspection. Walk around your X5 and visually confirm all strips are level, flush, and aligned. Test by gently pressing each strip—no movement should occur.

Cure time. Allow 24 hours before driving to allow adhesive full bond strength.
Note: If strips are misaligned, do not force. Carefully peel back and reposition. Never install strips in temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C—adhesive performance is compromised outside this range.
