Steps
- Safely lift vehicle and remove wheel (front or rear as needed)
- Disconnect the 2-pin ABS sensor connector from the harness
- Remove mounting bolt(s) securing the sensor to the brake disc carrier or suspension strut
- Carefully extract the old sensor; clean the mounting hole of debris
- Install new sensor into the same position and torque bolt(s) to spec (typically 8–10 Nm)
- Reconnect the 2-pin connector; check for secure seating
- Refit the wheel and lower the vehicle
- Start engine and verify ABS warning light extinguishes within 30 seconds of full system self-test
