Installation Guide
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Time: 15–20 minutes per side
- Park on level ground and engage handbrake. Open driver's door fully.
- Locate the three retention clips on the underside and inner edge of the factory mirror cover.
- Gently pry the factory cover away from the mirror housing using a soft plastic trim tool or spoon. Work from the top down to avoid cracking the plastic.
- Disconnect any wiring harness for mirror heating or puddle lights (if equipped). Set factory cover aside for storage or resale.
- Position the M4 style cover over the mirror housing and press down firmly until all three clips engage with an audible click.
- Reconnect any disconnected wiring, ensuring connectors are seated fully.
- Repeat steps 1–6 for the passenger-side mirror.
- Step back and inspect both covers for alignment and gloss finish consistency.
Note: Light variations in gloss depth and colour tone between manufacturing batches are normal and expected. Measurement tolerance: ±1–3 cm. Do not force clips; reposition cover if resistance is felt.
