- Park your vehicle on a flat surface and ensure the steering wheel is in the straight-ahead, unlocked position before beginning.
- Clean the existing steering wheel trim surface thoroughly with a lint-free cloth to remove any dust, oils, or debris that could affect clip engagement.
- Align the carbon fibre trim piece with the top section of your steering wheel, matching the profile to the OEM cover contours.
- Apply firm, even pressure along the trim from the centre outward, pressing each clip point into place until you feel a positive snap-fit engagement.
- Run your fingers along the full edge of the trim to confirm it is seated flush and uniformly — there should be no gaps or lifting at any point.
- Turn the steering wheel slowly through full lock in both directions to confirm the trim does not interfere with wheel rotation or any stalks.
Important: Do not attempt installation with the vehicle in motion or with the engine running. Ensure the trim sits entirely clear of the airbag module and horn pad. If at any point the trim feels loose or misaligned, remove and re-seat before driving. If in doubt, consult a professional installer.
