Installation Notes

- Ensure the bonnet is fully cool and the vehicle has been recently washed. Any wax, polish, or surface contaminant will reduce adhesive bond strength.
- Use the included isopropyl alcohol prep wipe to thoroughly clean the bonnet vent surround areas where the slats will sit. Allow to dry fully — approximately 60 seconds.
- Dry-fit the slats without removing the adhesive backing to confirm positioning and alignment against the vent openings.
- Peel the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the first slat. Carefully position and press firmly into place, applying even pressure along the full length of the slat for 30–45 seconds.
- Repeat for remaining slats, ensuring consistent spacing and alignment across both vent clusters.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing to heavy rain.
⚠ Note: Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) as adhesive bonding strength is significantly reduced in cold conditions. For best results, install in a dry garage or warm environment.
