Installation & Fitting

Prepare the tailgate surface. Use the included alcohol prep sheet to thoroughly clean the tailgate area where the trim will sit. Remove any dirt, dust, or residue. Allow to dry completely (minimum 5 minutes).

Test-fit the trim. Position the U-shaped cover on the tailgate to confirm proper alignment. Mark reference points if needed.

Apply the adhesive. Carefully peel the backing from the pre-applied paste adhesive on the trim cover. Do not touch the adhesive surface.

Secure the trim. Press the cover firmly onto the prepared tailgate surface, starting from the centre and working outward. Apply even pressure across the entire U-shaped profile for 30–60 seconds.

Allow curing time. Let the adhesive cure for a minimum of 24 hours before exposing the tailgate to washing, rain, or extended sun exposure.
Important: Ensure the tailgate surface is completely dry and free of wax, sealant, or protective coatings before installation. Poor surface preparation may result in reduced adhesion. Do not install in direct sunlight or temperatures below 10°C.
