Pre-Purchase Check: Your Mini must have an AUX input or AMI (Apple Music Interface) in the armrest box for installation. Verify this before ordering.
Installation
⏱ Estimated Time: 30–45 minutes | Difficulty: Intermediate
- Power off your Mini and remove the armrest box from the center console (gentle pry with a trim tool).
- Locate the AUX or AMI connector inside. Disconnect it carefully.
- Connect the wireless module to the AUX/AMI port using the supplied connector.
- Use the adhesive bracket to secure the module inside the armrest cavity. Route antenna toward the windshield.
- Reinstall the armrest box and power on your Mini.
- Go to your car's Bluetooth settings and pair your smartphone to the module (search for "[Device Name]").
- Open Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on your phone and accept permissions.
- Select the wireless module from your phone's CarPlay settings to confirm connection.
- Test CarPlay/Android Auto on your 6.5" or 8.8" display. You're done.
Note: The module requires continuous 12V power. If your armrest AUX doesn't provide power, a separate 12V tap may be needed. Consult the manual or contact our team.
