- Thoroughly clean the existing vent surrounds with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely — this ensures maximum adhesion.
- Unbox your vent covers and test-fit each piece against the corresponding vent without removing the adhesive backing, checking for alignment.
- Once satisfied with the fitment, peel the protective film from the pre-applied adhesive tape on the reverse of each cover.
- Align the cover carefully over the vent surround, starting from one edge and pressing down gradually to avoid trapping air bubbles.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface of each cover and hold in place for 30–60 seconds.
- Allow the adhesive to cure fully at room temperature for 2–4 hours before operating the A/C or exposing to extreme temperatures.
Note: Ensure your Discovery 3 has been parked at ambient temperature before fitting. Applying covers in very cold or very hot conditions may reduce initial adhesive performance. If you are uncertain about any step, professional fitting is always recommended.
