- Ensure the vehicle is parked and the centre console surface is at room temperature before beginning installation.
- Thoroughly clean the terrain adjustment knob surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or similar degreaser. Allow the surface to dry completely — any moisture or oil residue will reduce adhesive performance.
- Peel the protective backing from the pre-applied automotive adhesive tape on the reverse of the sequin cover.
- Carefully align the cover with the terrain knob surround, ensuring the cutout sits flush and centred around the knob base before making contact with the surface.
- Press the cover firmly and evenly across its entire surface for a minimum of 30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before exposing the area to moisture or significant temperature variation.
⚠ Note: This cover is designed exclusively for Land Rover Discovery 3 models produced between 2004 and 2009. Do not attempt to fit to other model years or variants — adhesive performance and panel fitment cannot be guaranteed on non-compatible surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the stainless steel finish after installation.
