- Begin with the vehicle interior at room temperature. Avoid fitting in a cold environment as adhesion performance may be reduced below 10°C.
- Thoroughly clean the existing seat belt cover surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove all dust, oils, and residue. Allow to dry fully before proceeding.
- Dry-fit each trim piece against the panel to confirm alignment and orientation before removing the adhesive backing.
- Peel the protective film from the double-sided adhesive on the reverse of each trim piece.
- Carefully align the trim to the seat belt housing, starting from one edge and pressing firmly and evenly across the full surface.
- Apply sustained firm pressure for 30–60 seconds per piece to activate the adhesive bond fully.
- Allow 24 hours before exposing the trim to significant heat or moisture for optimal adhesion strength.
⚠ Note: Ensure surfaces are completely dry before fitting. Fitting over wax, polish, or conditioner residue may compromise long-term adhesion. If unsure, wipe surfaces twice with a fresh IPA cloth.
