- Thoroughly clean the rear bumper area around the exhaust outlets using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or panel cleaner. Remove all grease, dirt, and wax residue to ensure strong adhesion.
- Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding. Do not apply in cold or wet conditions — ideal temperature is 15°C to 30°C.
- Dry-fit the tail pipe trim cover against the bumper to confirm alignment and positioning before committing to adhesive.
- Peel the backing from the pre-applied 3M adhesive tape on the rear of the trim cover.
- Carefully align the cover to the exhaust surround area and press firmly into position. Apply sustained pressure for 30–60 seconds across the full surface to ensure full adhesive contact.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing to moisture.
