- Carefully fold in your wing mirror and use a trim removal tool to gently unclip the existing mirror indicator lens from the housing. Apply light, even pressure to avoid cracking the surrounding trim.
- Disconnect the factory plug from the back of the existing indicator unit — it will unclip with a gentle squeeze of the connector tab.
- Connect the new LED dynamic indicator's plug directly into the factory socket. The connector is keyed, so it will only seat in one orientation.
- Clip the new indicator unit into the mirror housing until it seats flush. Test the function by cycling the ignition on and checking both left and right turn signals.
- Repeat for the opposite side. No software coding or dealer intervention is required — the units are 100% plug-and-play.
