Installation Notes

- Park your vehicle and ensure the steering wheel is centred and in its default position. Turn off the ignition completely.
- Use the included prep wipe to thoroughly clean the existing button surround area. Remove any dust, oils, or residue and allow to dry fully — approximately 60 seconds.
- Carefully peel the backing from the adhesive on the first trim piece. Do not touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the trim piece over the button surround, starting from one corner to ensure correct positioning before committing the full surface.
- Press firmly and evenly across the trim piece for 20–30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Work from the centre outward to avoid air pockets.
- Repeat for the remaining trim pieces. Allow the adhesive to cure fully for 30 minutes before operating the steering wheel controls.
- Check all buttons for unobstructed movement and confirm the trim sits flush with no lifting at the edges.

Steering wheel button layouts can vary between trim levels (SE, HSE, Autobiography, SVR) within the same model year.
