Installation Notes

- Ensure the electronic handbrake is fully engaged and the vehicle is parked on level ground before beginning.
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the existing handbrake surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or clean microfibre cloth. Remove all dust, grease, and moisture to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Allow the surface to dry completely — ideally for 2–3 minutes — before proceeding.
- Peel the backing from the included automotive adhesive tape and apply it evenly to the reverse side of the aluminium cover, following the profile of the piece.
- Carefully align the cover over the handbrake assembly, checking positioning before making contact with the surface.
- Once correctly aligned, press firmly and evenly across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Avoid operating the handbrake for at least one hour to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
⚠ Note: Do not install in cold or damp conditions — adhesive performance is reduced below 10°C. For best results, install indoors at room temperature. Do not use solvent-based cleaners on the aluminium surface as this may damage the polished finish.
