Installation Notes
⏱ Estimated Time: 20–40 minutes | 🔧 Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the engine off. Allow the mirror housing to cool if the vehicle has been driven recently.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing factory mirror cap away from the mirror housing — work from the lower edge inward to avoid scratching the door panel.
- Disconnect any wiring harness connectors if your factory cap integrates indicators or puddle lights. Note connector orientation before removal.
- Transfer any necessary internal clips or brackets from the OEM cap to the new carbon fiber cap as directed in the installation guide.
- Align the new carbon fiber cap with the mirror housing, ensuring all locating tabs engage correctly before pressing firmly to clip into place.
- Reconnect any wiring connectors and test indicator and puddle light functions if applicable before completing installation on the second side.
- Stand back and confirm even panel alignment and consistent fitment on both driver and passenger sides before driving.
