- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the ignition off and the front lamps fully cooled before beginning fitment.
- Clean the front lamp lens housings thoroughly using a soft microfibre cloth and a mild automotive glass cleaner, removing all dust, grime, and moisture.
- Dry the lamp surfaces completely — any residual moisture beneath the cover can cause condensation or adhesion issues over time.
- Test-fit each cover against the corresponding lamp housing before final installation to confirm alignment and confirm no adjustment is needed.
- Following the included guide, locate the designated fixing points on the lamp housing surround and align the cover's mounting tabs or brackets accordingly.
- Secure each cover using the supplied hardware, applying even, gentle pressure to avoid cracking the polycarbonate. Do not overtighten.
- Perform a final visual check from a distance to confirm both covers are seated flush and symmetrically before driving.
⚠ Note: Confirm your specific Defender variant (90 / 110 / 130) and model year before fitting. These guards are designed exclusively for the L663 generation (2020 onwards) and are not compatible with the classic Defender L316 platform.
