Installation Notes

Lift the vehicle safely on axle stands or a lift. Ensure the rear wheels are off the ground and there is no pressure on the suspension.

Locate the anti-roll bar underneath the rear axle. The sway bar bushings are mounted at the mid-span of the bar, secured to the chassis via a vertical link or bracket.

Remove the mounting bolt(s) holding the bracket or link. A 13mm or 15mm socket is typically required; support the bar with a jack or prop to prevent it dropping.

Slide out the old bushing and rubber sleeve. Inspect the mounting hardware for damage; replace if corroded or worn.

Install the new bushing onto the anti-roll bar, ensuring it is seated fully and centred in the bracket. Do not force it—it should slide smoothly onto the bar.

Reattach the mounting bracket and tighten the bolt to 20–25 Nm (15–18 ft-lb). Do not over-torque; this can crush the rubber.

Lower the vehicle onto all four wheels and bounce the rear a few times to settle the suspension.

Check alignment: If you've replaced both bushings, consider a wheel alignment check to ensure no suspension geometry has drifted.
Important: Do not drive the vehicle or place full load on the suspension until both bushings are installed and all fasteners are torqued to specification. Incomplete or loose fitment may cause further suspension damage or handling instability.
