- Begin with the vehicle parked in a clean, well-lit environment. Ensure the interior temperature is comfortable — adhesive bonds most effectively between 15°C and 30°C.
- Thoroughly clean both front seat belt pillar surfaces using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or a clean microfibre cloth lightly dampened with IPA. Remove all dust, grease, and any existing residue. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
- Before committing, dry-fit each trim piece against its corresponding pillar to confirm alignment and orientation. The trims are not identical — check left versus right positioning carefully.
- Peel the protective backing from the double-sided adhesive on the first trim piece. Align carefully with the seat belt surround area and press firmly into position, applying even pressure across the full surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat the process for the second trim piece on the opposite side, maintaining the same alignment approach for a symmetrical result.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure for a minimum of 24 hours before subjecting the trims to any stress, cleaning, or extreme temperature exposure.
⚠ Important: Do not attempt to install on a cold or damp surface. Adhesive performance is significantly reduced below 10°C or on surfaces that retain moisture. Skipping the surface-cleaning step is the most common cause of poor adhesion — do not rush this stage.
