- Begin with a clean, dry cabin at room temperature. Ensure the gear selector housing surface is free from dust, oils and moisture — use an isopropyl alcohol wipe if available.
- Dry-fit the trim panel over the gear shift head to confirm alignment and orientation before committing to adhesion.
- Peel the protective backing from the double-sided adhesive layer on the reverse of the trim panel.
- Carefully position the trim over the gear selector head, aligning all edges with the surrounding console trim before pressing down.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to fully activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow 24 hours before subjecting the trim to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for best long-term adhesion.
⚠ Note: Ensure the vehicle is parked and the gear selector is in Park before beginning installation. Do not attempt to fit this trim while driving or with the engine running. If your interior surfaces have been recently treated with a silicone-based protectant, clean thoroughly before fitting to ensure full adhesive contact.
