- Ensure the vehicle is parked safely with the ignition off and the battery isolated before beginning any work on the centre console.
- Carefully remove the existing climate control panel from the dashboard using appropriate trim removal tools — take care not to damage the surrounding fascia or retention clips.
- Disconnect the OEM wiring harness from the back of the original unit by releasing the locking tab and pulling the connector free.
- Connect the included plug-and-play wiring harness to the V2 Upgrade Screen, then connect the opposing end to the vehicle's OEM connector — it will click securely into place.
- Seat the new screen into the dashboard aperture, ensuring all mounting points align correctly, then secure using the provided hardware.
- Reinstate the battery connection, power on the vehicle, and test all climate, seat comfort, and secondary functions to confirm full operation before refitting any trim panels.
- Refit all surrounding trim panels and conduct a final functional check across all touch inputs and dials.
⚠ Important: This screen replaces the CD player slot. If your vehicle's CD player is in active use, please consider this before purchasing.
