Installation Notes

Preparation: Allow engine to cool fully. Place drain pan under radiator. Remove negative battery terminal.

Drain coolant: Open radiator drain plug and lower hose clamp. Drain into suitable container for safe disposal or recycling.

Remove old hoses: Loosen hose clamps at expansion tank and radiator connections. Gently twist and slide hoses free. Note routing before removal.

Install new inlet hose (LR000933): Connect engine block outlet to expansion tank. Ensure clamps sit over reinforced sections. Tighten to 2–3 Nm (hand-tight plus quarter turn).

Install main circulation hose (LR006165): Connect radiator outlet to expansion tank lower port. Secure both ends with original clamps.

Install outlet hose (LR019341): Connect engine thermostat housing to expansion tank inlet. Verify no kinks or contact with engine bay sharp edges.

Refill system: Pour fresh coolant (50/50 mix) into expansion tank to MAX mark. Run engine at idle for 3 minutes. Top up as air bleeds out.

Final check: Allow engine to cool. Inspect all connections for weeping. Check coolant level. Reconnect battery and test drive.
