Installation Steps

  1. Remove engine covers and auxiliary components to access timing chain cover.
  2. Drain coolant; disconnect hoses and disconnect battery negative terminal.
  3. Unbolt timing chain cover and gasket; inspect crankshaft and camshaft timing marks.
  4. Release tensioner arm spring tension (use OEM timing lock tool to prevent rotation).
  5. Remove old timing chain, guide arm, and tensioner assembly.
  6. Fit new main timing chain guide (LR025000) and secure bolts to OEM torque spec.
  7. Thread new timing chain (LR025263) around crankshaft and camshaft sprockets, aligning timing marks precisely.
  8. Install new tensioner arm (LR025632) and electronic tensioner (LR095137); verify free movement.
  9. Refit timing chain cover with fresh gasket; apply OEM-spec sealant.
  10. Refill coolant, reconnect battery, and run engine to verify correct timing and tensioner activation.
