5.0L SC V8 Petrol V-Ribbed Drive Belt

OEM-spec serpentine belt for Range Rover 2013+ and Range Rover Sport 2014+ — ensure consistent engine accessory drive and long-term reliability.

Range Rover L405 Range Rover Sport L494 2013–2020 5.0L Supercharged Primary & Secondary

Overview

The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport 5.0L Supercharged V8 demands engineered components throughout its drivetrain. Your serpentine belt—primary or secondary—drives the alternator, water pump, and air conditioning compressor in a single continuous circuit. When original spec performance matters, this OEM-equivalent V-ribbed belt delivers the tension, durability, and grip your supercharged engine expects.

Victorious supplies both Primary (LR035542) and Secondary (LR011327) variants, ensuring you can replace either belt with confidence. These belts meet Land Rover's original material and ribbed-profile specifications, so alignment and serpentine routing are guaranteed from day one.

Worn or slipping belts cause alternator output loss, coolant temperature spike, and compressor whine—warnings no Range Rover owner should ignore. A proactive belt swap keeps your premium vehicle running silently and reliably.

Installation

Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes

  1. Disconnect battery negative terminal and allow engine to cool completely.
  2. Locate the tensioner bolt on the serpentine belt path (typically bottom right of the engine bay).
  3. Rotate the tensioner clockwise (via bolt head or lever) to release belt tension and slide the old belt free.
  4. Remove the worn belt carefully; inspect pulleys for cracks or glazing.
  5. Position the new belt onto the crankshaft pulley first, then route around alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor (follow the serpentine diagram on the undertray or engine cover).
  6. Rotate the tensioner clockwise again to maximum release and seat the belt fully onto all grooves.
  7. Release the tensioner slowly; the spring will auto-tension the belt to factory spec.
  8. Reconnect the battery and start the engine; listen for noise and confirm alternator output on the dash.
  9. Allow to idle for 2 minutes and recheck tension (no visible slip or glazing on pulley edges).
⚠ Important: If the belt slips or whines after installation, the tensioner spring may be worn. Consult a Land Rover specialist or contact Victorious support before driving long distances. Ignoring a slipping belt risks alternator failure and engine overheating.

Ready to Refresh Your Engine?

A fresh serpentine belt is one of the easiest ways to restore smooth, silent engine accessory operation on your Range Rover. Don't let a worn belt become a roadside emergency.
