- Begin with the vehicle parked on a level surface with the ignition off. Allow the interior to reach ambient temperature before starting.
- Thoroughly clean the existing central control button surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or a clean, lint-free cloth. Remove all dust, grease, and residue.
- Allow the cleaned surface to dry completely — a minimum of 5 minutes is recommended for best adhesive performance.
- Carefully peel the backing from the pre-applied adhesive tape on the rear of the ABS frame, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the frame precisely over the existing button surround, using the cutouts to confirm correct positioning before committing to the bond.
- Press firmly and evenly across the entire surface of the frame for at least 30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Allow a minimum of 2 hours before exposing the installation to heat or direct sunlight to ensure a full cure. Avoid pressing the buttons aggressively for the first 24 hours.
⚠️ Important: Do not attempt installation on a damp, cold, or recently cleaned surface that has not fully dried. Adhesive performance is significantly reduced below 10°C — warm the interior gently if fitting in cold conditions. This trim frame is cosmetic and does not interfere with underlying button or switch functionality when fitted correctly.
