- Begin by thoroughly cleaning the existing AC vent surround area on the dashboard. Use an alcohol-based interior cleaning wipe to remove any dust, grease, or moisture from the surface.
- Allow the surface to dry completely. Installing onto a damp or oily surface will significantly reduce adhesive bond strength and may cause the cover to lift over time.
- Dry-fit the cover against the vent surround before removing any adhesive backing — confirm the alignment, finish, and fit are exactly as expected.
- Once satisfied with placement, carefully peel back the adhesive tape backing and position the cover precisely over the vent outlet surround.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the full face of the cover for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Avoid disturbing the cover for at least one hour after installation.
- For best long-term adhesion, avoid exposing the vehicle interior to extreme heat (e.g. direct sun on a hot day) for the first 24 hours following installation.
