- Begin with the vehicle stationary and the seat in a neutral, accessible position. Recline the backrest slightly if needed for easier access to the adjustment knobs.
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the existing seat backrest adjustment knobs using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or a clean, dry cloth. Remove any dust, grease, or residue. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.
- Peel the backing from the pre-cut automotive adhesive tape and carefully apply it to the reverse face of each chrome cover, aligning it centrally.
- Position each cover over the corresponding knob, pressing firmly from the centre outward for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesion across the surface.
- Repeat for all remaining knobs. Avoid operating the seat adjustment mechanism for at least 1–2 hours after installation to allow the adhesive bond to fully cure.
⚠ Note: Ensure the surface is completely clean and free of any protectant sprays or conditioners prior to installation — any residue will significantly reduce adhesive strength. Do not use steam cleaners on the covers after fitting.
