Installation Notes
Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 15–30 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool, clean cloth
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the ignition off and the mirror heating system deactivated before beginning work.
- Carefully insert a plastic trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver (wrapped in tape) around the edge of the existing mirror glass to release the retaining clips without damaging the mirror housing.
- Gently pull the old mirror glass forward and away from the housing, taking care not to stress or detach the heating connector at the rear.
- Disconnect the factory heating connector from the back of the old mirror glass lens — note the orientation before removing.
- Connect the factory heating connector to the corresponding plug on the new heated mirror glass lens, ensuring a firm and secure connection.
- Carefully align the new mirror glass with the housing and press firmly until the retaining clips engage and the glass sits flush.
- Test the heated mirror function using the vehicle's interior controls to confirm correct operation before completing the installation.
