- Thoroughly clean the existing roof reading light surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove any dust, grease, or residue and allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the cover over the lamp frame to confirm alignment and check for any gaps before committing to adhesion.
- Peel the backing from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive tape on the reverse of the cover.
- Carefully align the cover over the lamp surround, starting from one edge, and press firmly into position.
- Apply sustained, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before subjecting the area to temperature extremes or cleaning.
⚠ Important: Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before applying. Installing in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) may reduce initial adhesive performance. Do not attempt to remove and refit once bonded — the adhesive is single-use.
