- Begin with the vehicle interior at room temperature if possible. Cold surfaces can reduce initial adhesive bond strength.
- Thoroughly clean the existing seat adjustment switch surround using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove any dust, oils or residue and allow to dry completely for 2–3 minutes.
- Dry-fit each cover trim against the switch area before committing to adhesion — confirm alignment and positioning with the switch profile.
- Peel the protective film from the double-sided adhesive backing on the first trim piece, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the trim carefully over the switch surround and press firmly into position. Apply steady pressure across the full surface for 20–30 seconds.
- Repeat for the second trim piece. Avoid operating the seat adjustment switches for at least 1 hour to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
⚠ Note: Ensure the adhesive surface is not contaminated before application. Once bonded, removal may leave adhesive residue.
