Installation Notes

- Open the tailgate fully and locate the access panel inside the boot lining adjacent to each rear lamp cluster. Remove the trim clips or fasteners to expose the lamp housing bolts.
- Using a T20 Torx driver, remove the three to four retaining bolts securing the lamp assembly to the body. Support the unit from the outside to prevent it dropping.
- Carefully pull the lamp assembly away from the bodywork. Disconnect the wiring loom connector by pressing the release tab and pulling firmly — do not tug the wiring itself.
- Unbox the new smoked lamp assembly. Confirm the unit matches orientation (left or right) before proceeding. Connect the wiring loom connector to the new unit until you hear it click into place.
- Align the new lamp assembly with the mounting holes and hand-tighten the retaining bolts before torquing to factory specification. Ensure the gasket seats flush against the bodywork to prevent water ingress.
- Refit the boot lining trim panel, then test all functions — stop lights, indicators, reverse, and fog — before closing the tailgate. Repeat the process on the opposite side.
