Installation Notes

Prepare: Lift vehicle on secure jack stands. Remove the wheel to access the brake assembly.

Locate sensor: Find the speed sensor mounted on the steering knuckle or brake carrier (position varies by model year).

Disconnect: Unplug the OEM electrical connector from the failed sensor.

Remove: Unscrew the single mounting bolt. The sensor will pull free—do not force if stuck; apply penetrating oil.

Clean: Wipe the mounting surface on the knuckle with a dry cloth. Remove any debris or rust that could cause poor contact.

Install new sensor: Insert the new sensor into the mounting hole. Hand-thread the bolt first, then torque to 7–10 Nm (5–7 ft-lb) to avoid overtightening.

Reconnect: Plug in the electrical connector. Ensure it seats fully and locks—listen for the click.

Test: Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and start the engine. The ABS warning light should extinguish after 10–20 seconds of driving.
