- Thoroughly clean the mirror housing surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe to remove all wax, grease, and dust. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
- Dry-fit both trim pieces against the mirror housing to confirm alignment and positioning before committing to the adhesive bond.
- Peel the protective backing from the adhesive tape on the reverse of the trim piece, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
- Align the trim precisely against the mirror housing, starting from one edge and pressing inward to avoid trapping air bubbles beneath the surface.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire trim surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesion, paying particular attention to edges and corners.
- Repeat for the second mirror housing. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 2–4 hours before driving or exposing to water.
⚠ Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) as adhesive performance may be reduced. Ensure the mirror housing surface is completely dry and free of any surface dressings or protectants prior to fitting. If in doubt, professional fitting is recommended.
