- Ensure the vehicle interior is at a comfortable ambient temperature — adhesive bonds most effectively between 18°C and 25°C.
- Thoroughly clean the existing AC panel surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or similar residue-free cleaner. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
- Dry-fit the trim piece over the panel to confirm alignment and check all edges sit flush against the surrounding dashboard.
- Peel the protective backing from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive on the rear of the trim piece.
- Carefully position the trim over the AC panel, aligning from one edge and pressing down firmly across the entire surface to activate the adhesive bond.
- Apply firm pressure for 30–60 seconds across all areas, paying particular attention to the corners and edges.
- Allow a minimum of 2 hours before operating the air conditioning at high fan speeds to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
⚠ Important: Do not install on a cold or damp surface. Skipping the cleaning step is the most common cause of adhesive failure. If the trim is removed and re-applied, the adhesive may need to be replaced. Contact us if you need additional adhesive strips.
