Installation Notes
⏱ Estimated Time: 15–20 minutes | 🔧 Difficulty: Beginner
- Begin with the steering wheel in its natural, centered position. Turn off the ignition and allow the wheel to cool if the vehicle has been recently driven.
- Use the included prep wipe to thoroughly clean each button surround area where the stickers will be applied. Remove any dust, oils, or residue and allow to dry completely — at least 60 seconds.
- Dry-fit each aluminum sticker against its corresponding button location before committing. Confirm orientation and alignment before removing the adhesive backing.
- Peel the protective backing from a single sticker. Carefully align it to the button surround and press down firmly from the centre outward to eliminate any air pockets.
- Hold firm pressure on each piece for 20–30 seconds. Repeat for all remaining stickers.
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure for 24 hours before heavy use or exposure to moisture for best long-term adhesion.
⚠ Note: Ensure the button surfaces are completely dry and free from silicone-based interior dressings or conditioners before applying. These products can significantly reduce adhesive bond strength. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C (50°F).
