- Start with the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position and ensure the surface is clean and dry. Use an isopropyl alcohol wipe to degrease the factory button frame area thoroughly.
- Hold the cover up against the steering wheel button surround and confirm the fit before bonding — check that all edges align correctly and button cutouts are properly positioned.
- Peel the protective backing from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive on the reverse of the cover.
- Carefully align the cover over the button frame starting from one edge, pressing it down progressively to avoid trapping air bubbles beneath the surface.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire face of the cover for 30–60 seconds to ensure a strong initial bond.
- Allow a minimum of 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before applying stress to the cover. Avoid touching controls aggressively during this period.
⚠ Important: Ensure the surface is completely free of wax, polish, or silicone dressing before applying. Fitting to a dirty or contaminated surface will significantly reduce adhesive strength.
