- Begin with a clean interior. Wipe each door handle recess thoroughly with an isopropyl alcohol cloth and allow to dry completely — this ensures maximum adhesive bond strength.
- Dry-fit each trim piece before committing. Offer up the frame surround to the door handle recess and confirm the alignment and flush fit across all four pieces.
- Peel the protective backing from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive tape on the reverse of each trim piece.
- Carefully press the trim firmly into position around the door handle recess, applying consistent pressure along the full perimeter for 30–60 seconds per piece.
- Allow the adhesive to cure at room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours before subjecting the trim to any stress or extreme temperature variation.
Important: Do not attempt installation in cold conditions below 10°C — adhesive performance is significantly reduced at low temperatures. Warm the panel surface gently with a heat gun or hair dryer if working in a cool environment. Ensure the surface is completely free of wax, grease, or cleaning product residue before applying.
