Installation

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Estimated Time: 1–2 hours per side | Tools: Standard suspension toolkit, torque wrench, jack, jack stands

Installation Steps

  1. Safely raise the vehicle and support on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
  2. Locate the upper control arm mounting points on the steering knuckle and frame.
  3. Remove the retaining bolts securing the upper control arm to the knuckle.
  4. Unbolt and remove the old bushings from the control arm.
  5. Install new Victorious bushings into the upper control arm, aligning bores with pivot points.
  6. Reattach the control arm to the steering knuckle. Torque bolts to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft) for LR3/LR4 and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) for Sport models.
  7. Repeat for the opposite side. Reinstall wheels and lower the vehicle.
  8. Perform a full four-wheel alignment to reset camber and caster angles.
Important: Always use a torque wrench to specification. Under-torqueing may cause bushings to shift; over-torqueing can damage polyurethane material. If you're unfamiliar with suspension work, consult a qualified technician or Land Rover specialist.
