Installation

Prepare the surface: Clean the central control panel mounting area thoroughly with a microfibre cloth. Ensure no dust, dirt, or residue remains. Allow to dry completely.

Remove adhesive backing: Gently peel the 3M protective film from the pre-applied dual-sided tape on the rear of the rack.

Position and align: Carefully align the rack with your central control panel. Reference the provided images to confirm exact placement. Press firmly for 20–30 seconds to establish initial adhesion.

Allow cure time: Do not wash or stress the vehicle for 48 hours. The adhesive requires full curing time to achieve maximum bond strength.

Test security: After 48 hours, gently press and flex the rack to confirm stable mounting. It should move minimally if at all.
⚠️ Important: Failure to clean the mounting surface thoroughly will compromise adhesion. If your Defender has a textured or heavily contoured central control panel, the rack may not sit flush. Contact us before installation if you're uncertain about panel geometry.
